Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vítor Barros made the kick off which started today's match. Artur Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Eusébio Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 5 minutes, António Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espindelo and the Gestoso players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Espindelo got a freekick which was hit by António Cabral. Gonçalo Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio Pires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonçalo Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Gestoso getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gonçalo Cunha hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Rogério Henriques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espindelo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 26 minutes, Vítor Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espindelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rogério Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Gestoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Abreu to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Basílio Luz took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Eusébio Pires to make any attempt to save it.
The wind increased when Basílio Luz made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Rogério Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espindelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Henriques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Espindelo's Eusébio Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Luz in the 59th minute of play. Nuno Ferro charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Ferro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Espindelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Ferro to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Pires came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Gestoso's Artur Morais. But to his dismay, Artur Morais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Gestoso's Óscar Guerreiro got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Rogério Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Gestoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Basílio Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Pires having to interfere. Gestoso's Lucas Freitas pulled a muscle in his back after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 73 played minutes Espindelo got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Ferro. After 74 played minutes, Gestoso's Gonçalo Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eusébio Pires came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gestoso reached it. Eusébio Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Barros's late challenge caught a Gestoso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Barros helped the player get up and apologised. Vítor Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Artur Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Pires having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Espindelo's Amadeu Setúbal got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Artur Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rogério Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gestoso's Artur Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Basílio Luz came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Gestoso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Luz couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
