In the 9th match minute, Ifanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Borba to maneuver through the defense. Basílio Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cristiano Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Veiga's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Marcoes FC's Basílio Veiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Freitas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ifanes's goalkeeper Cristiano Freitas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Ifanes's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Assis came free, but Cristiano Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If André Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Veiga in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Hélder Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Costa succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 41st minute, Rodrigo Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Jorge Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Cristiano Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Freitas having to interfere. Jorge Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute Hélder Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Marcoes FC's Jorge Porto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Freitas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nuno Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Basílio Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Rodrigo Costa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Rodrigo Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ifanes's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basílio Veiga in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Freitas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Rodrigo Costa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hélder Assis's late challenge caught a Ifanes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Assis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Marcoes FC's Hélder Assis got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Rui Queirós was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Ifanes's Rodrigo Costa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Cristiano Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Porto in the 90th minute of play. Marcoes FC's Basílio Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Gustavo Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ifanes's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Adolfo Brás successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Basílio Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marcoes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Ifanes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
