The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Porto got free with Diamantino Vieira in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basílio Veiga struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Diamantino Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marcoes FC. Jorge Porto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diamantino Vieira having to make a save. Adolfo Brás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tougues booed when Marcoes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Tougues's Lourenço Faro tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basílio Veiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Adolfo Brás successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Marcoes FC defense, Filipe Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Brás. The Marcoes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Brás should have stopped the shot. Filipe Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. The Marcoes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Almeida during the 80th minute. Filipe Barbosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcoes FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tougues for a fine match.
