Ricardo Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Dantas in the 32nd minute of the match. Cepos's Cláudio Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Álvaro Branco to strike the kick off in the second half. Bento Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Ricardo Dantas made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Cepos got a penalty, and Eduardo Abreu placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. 62 minutes into the match, Bruno Luz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Dantas, 1-3. In the 66th minute, Henrique Maia made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Bessa. Cepos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Henrique Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Bessa having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Henrique Maia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Almoriz FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. With his leg Ricardo Dantas managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Cepos's Bento Dantas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bento Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrique Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Bessa having to make a save. In the 93rd minute, one of Cepos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cepos. The referee gave Almoriz FC a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joaquim Fernandes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cepos's Lucas Bessa. 4-3. 99 minutes into the match, Cláudio Vale dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Dantas, 4-4. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
