Armindo Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Valente charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Valente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Bruno Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, one of Paraiso FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. José Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Azevedo in the 23rd minute of the match. Bruno Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Sérgio Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Leite having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Freitas got free with Armindo Garcia in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cláudio Araújo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Sérgio Martins recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armindo Garcia. Sérgio Martins showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Nuno Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandre Ferreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Alexandre Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Azevedo in the 57th minute. Sérgio Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Freitas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. If Alexandre Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Ferreira in the 69th minute of play forced Paraiso FC's goalkeeper José Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nuno Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sérgio Martins came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Paraiso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Martins couldn't finish the play. Armindo Garcia came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Paraiso FC's Nuno Freitas. But to his dismay, Nuno Freitas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Nuno Freitas sped through SC Donas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armindo Garcia. SC Donas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
