Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adelino Carneiro got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Brito in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Vale saved SC Meires from getting behind. David Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Brito in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Galiana's zone, João Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Moutinho came out of the goal and João Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, SC Meires's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Dantas came free, but David Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes SC Meires got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Gueifão. Joaquim Brito was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 22 minutes, Domingos Gueifão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Meires and the Galiana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Meires's Domingos Gueifão got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Galiana's Joaquim Brito broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. David Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gil Brito went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jorge Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Vale having to interfere. David Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gil Brito went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gil Brito made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Jorge Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jorge Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorge Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. David Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 played minutes SC Meires got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Gueifão. Adelino Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Augusto Moutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Meires. After 63 played minutes SC Meires got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Pinto. 64 minutes into the match, Galiana's Joaquim Brito broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duarte Antunes during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Meires's Duarte Antunes got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute Gil Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Vale came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Galiana's Gil Brito. But to his dismay, Gil Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Alexandre Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78thth minute of the game João Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galiana's Augusto Moutinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Brito in the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Brito in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in SC Meires's zone, Jorge Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Vale came out of the goal and Jorge Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Carneiro in the 90th minute of play forced Galiana's goalkeeper Augusto Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Sérgio Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If João Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fábio Pedroso during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 96 minutes into the game, one of Galiana:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
