A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Adolfo Monteiro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rosmaninhal's Carlos Lopes. Carlos Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, SC Santiago's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Trindade came free, but Carlos Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Rosmaninhal's goalkeeper Carlos Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Monteiro. The audience was convinced that Vítor Ferro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Lopes was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Rosmaninhal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Santiago the free kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vítor Ferro to strike the kick off in the second half. Rosmaninhal's Carlos Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Monteiro in the 87th minute of play. Henrique Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Carlos Assunção tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Henrique Trindade made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. SC Santiago's Carlos Assunção tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Henrique Trindade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rosmaninhal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
