Daniel Fonseca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henrique Trindade scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Trindade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Cândido Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th match minute, Rosmaninhal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Henriques to maneuver through the defense. If Joaquim Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Pinho in the 38th minute of play forced Estela's goalkeeper Daniel Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Cândido Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cândido Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Estela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cândido Paiva couldn't finish the play. Rosmaninhal's Carlos Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Rosmaninhal from getting a goal against them. Rosmaninhal's Carlos Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Lopes in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Pinho made a kick off. After some careless play in the Rosmaninhal defense, Gonçalo Morais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Lopes. The Rosmaninhal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Lopes should have stopped the shot. Daniel Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Trindade in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Estela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henrique Trindade fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Estela's zone, Rafael Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Fonseca came out of the goal and Rafael Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th of the match, Rafael Pinho tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Daniel Fonseca got in the way and made a wonderful save. When Henrique Trindade came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Rosmaninhal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Trindade couldn't finish the play. In the 66th match minute, Estela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Morais to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Rafael Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosmaninhal's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Paiva in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosmaninhal's goalkeeper Carlos Lopes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Rosmaninhal getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Alberto Pinto hit a great ball. Rafael Pinho in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Fonseca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Estela getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Carlos Amaral hit a great ball. Carlos Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cândido Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Estela's Nuno Castro got a free kick in the 87th minute. Henrique Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Fonseca having to interfere. Alberto Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Paiva in the 98th minute of play forced Rosmaninhal's goalkeeper Carlos Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
