Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sardoa's Bernardo Jesus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armando Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Miguel Moniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, Alberto Veiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miguel Moniz. The goal made the score 1-0. Tiago Campos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Miguel Moniz made a huge save. A hard shot 10 in the game by Tiago Campos from a close distance when the talented Miguel Moniz managed to make a qualified save. Sardoa's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Veiga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Moniz. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. Bernardo Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Fonseca having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Gloria got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Matos. After 36 played minutes Sardoa got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Machado. After a defensive mix-up in Sardoa's zone, Alberto Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Moniz came out of the goal and Alberto Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Borges during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miguel Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Tiago Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Moniz having to interfere. After 57 played minutes, Gloria's Gil Cabral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miguel Moniz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gloria reached it. 68 minutes into the match, Sardoa's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Veiga came free, but Miguel Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Vale during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sardoa's Daniel Vale got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Tiago Campos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Campos in the 79th minute of play. Alberto Veiga took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Moniz. Miguel Moniz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 84 minutes into the match, Gloria's Gonçalo Pinheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Moniz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Gloria defense, Bernardo Jesus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Fonseca. The Gloria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Fonseca should have stopped the shot. Tiago Campos struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Miguel Moniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gloria. After 95 played minutes Sardoa got a freekick which was hit by António Nogueira. Miguel Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gloria were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sardoa for a fine match.
