Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fernando Campos's late challenge caught a SC Balsemao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Campos helped the player get up and apologised. 8 minutes into the game, one of SC Terrugem:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave SC Balsemao a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Matias, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Terrugem's André Simões. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Catarino Machado in the 16th minute of play forced SC Balsemao's goalkeeper Luís Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Catarino Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Balsemao's Gaspar Pinheiro got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Augusto Cabral notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SC Terrugem's André Simões. André Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Catarino Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Mendes hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, SC Terrugem's Daniel Lisboa tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, SC Balsemao's Luís Silva got control of the ball when Tomás Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tomás Correia got free in front of the goal in the 39th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Luís Silva was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Gaspar Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Silva having to interfere. Luís Silva made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Tomás Correia sent off a good shot on target. André Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, SC Terrugem's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Coelho came free, but André Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SC Terrugem players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Balsemao were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Coelho to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Jorge Coelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Balsemao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Tomás Correia struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Luís Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Terrugem. Armando Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Catarino Machado sped through SC Balsemao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Silva. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Catarino Machado in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Silva saved SC Balsemao from getting behind. Augusto Cabral didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-4 via right post in the game's 79th minute. SC Balsemao's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Tomás Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Silva having to interfere. André Simões made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Augusto Cabral sent off a good shot on target. The SC Balsemao players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
