Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alberto Moutinho made the kick off and thus started the match. Nuno Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sérgio Resende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Gil Dantas scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Resende, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Eusébio Borges notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gramaca's Sérgio Resende. Sérgio Resende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alberto Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. António Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eusébio Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Algoceira getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nuno Cabral hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Algoceira's Cláudio Cabral got a free kick in the 29th minute. António Sá made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Eusébio Silva sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Gramaca booed when Algoceira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Alberto Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gramaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Moutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eusébio Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gramaca's zone, Gil Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Resende came out of the goal and Gil Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gil Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Resende having to interfere. Sérgio Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Eusébio Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Gramaca's Alberto Moutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Algoceira's zone, Alberto Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Sá came out of the goal and Alberto Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute Eusébio Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Silva in the 64th minute of play forced Algoceira's goalkeeper António Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Gramaca's goalkeeper Sérgio Resende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gil Dantas. When Eusébio Silva came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Gramaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Silva couldn't finish the play. Cláudio Cabral hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute of the match João Abreu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but António Sá showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Gil Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Sérgio Resende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gil Dantas in the 88th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Algoceira's Nuno Cabral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sérgio Resende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Algoceira players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
