Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Cabral started the match with the kick off. Rodrigo Figueiredo came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Carqueijo's Bento Araújo. But to his dismay, Bento Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Simão Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Figueiredo having to interfere. Oliveira Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Cabral in the 15th minute of play. Simão Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Figueiredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Afonso Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Figueiredo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Carqueijo's Bento Araújo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Artur Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rodrigo Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Refega FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. Refega FC's João Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bento Araújo made a kick off. Carqueijo's Oliveira Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Branco in the 51st minute of play. Oliveira Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Cabral in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Branco in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliveira Cabral saved Carqueijo from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Bento Araújo put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rodrigo Figueiredo. Simão Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Refega FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Figueiredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 82 minutes, Bento Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carqueijo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bento Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bento Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Queirós got free with Rodrigo Figueiredo in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, Carqueijo's goal looked a bit too open when João Cabral came free, but Oliveira Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simão Costa scored 0-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Figueiredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carqueijo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
