Eusébio Morais hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Eusébio Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gramaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 55 minutes of play, Gramaca's Eusébio Silva made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oliveira Cabral was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Carqueijo's Oliveira Cabral got control of the ball when Eusébio Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Carqueijo's zone, Alberto Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliveira Cabral came out of the goal and Alberto Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When David Correia fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carqueijo's protests and gave David Correia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, David Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Simão Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Resende having to interfere. Simão Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Resende having to make a save. If Eusébio Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carqueijo's Oliveira Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Carqueijo from getting a goal against them. After 81 minutes of play Carqueijo's David Correia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Carqueijo getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. David Correia hit a great ball. When Simão Costa fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carqueijo's protests and gave Simão Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Simão Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The Carqueijo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gramaca's performance. The match ended with a win for Gramaca.
