Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Sousa kicked off to start the match. When José Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Sorrego fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Sousa couldn't finish the play. After 4 played minutes SC Ifanes got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Porto. Jacinto Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Nuno Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ifanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Pedroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viriato Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Freitas having to interfere. José Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jacinto Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Sorrego's Viriato Nunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Freitas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If José Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viriato Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Freitas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viriato Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacinto Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Sousa in the 32nd minute of play forced SC Ifanes's goalkeeper Jacinto Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Sorrego's José Sousa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Freitas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to SC Ifanes getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Daniel Lisboa hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Sorrego's Artur Amaro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Sorrego's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Pedroso came free, but Fernando Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Pedroso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Nuno Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Sorrego got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Melo. After 59 played minutes Sorrego got a freekick which was hit by José Sousa. 61 minutes into the match, Sorrego's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Pedroso came free, but Fernando Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, SC Ifanes's Álvaro Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Mendes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viriato Nunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto Freitas having to make a save. When Bruno Melo fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorrego's protests and gave Bruno Melo a yellow card for diving instead. Viriato Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jacinto Freitas made a huge save. Viriato Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jacinto Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Freitas made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Viriato Nunes sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of SC Ifanes booed when Sorrego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Cláudio Neto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Mendes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jacinto Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Sousa in the 94th minute of play. The SC Ifanes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sorrego's performance. The match ended with a win for Sorrego.
