Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Valejas's Fernando Amaral started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guardais FC's goalkeeper Mário Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Rogério Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guardais FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, SC Valejas's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Borba came free, but André Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Carneiro in the 11th minute of play. Nuno Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Brito having to interfere. Pedro Borba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Guardais FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Machado to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Antunes hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Fernando Amaral succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Fernando Amaral took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mário Brito to make any attempt to save it. SC Valejas's André Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Borba in the 44th minute of play. Fernando Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mário Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Borba to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nuno Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mário Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Rogério Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. André Gonçalves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guardais FC. Rogério Carneiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of André Gonçalves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fernando Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mário Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Carneiro in the 68th minute of play forced SC Valejas's goalkeeper André Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mário Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Bernardo Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Torres in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mário Brito saved Guardais FC from getting behind. After 76 minutes, Amílcar Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guardais FC and the SC Valejas players grew even worse after the yellow card. André Gonçalves made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Rogério Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. Rogério Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Brito having to interfere.
