Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Cabanelas's Artur Veiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of SC Cabanelas booed when Telhaes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duarte Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Monteiro having to interfere. Domingos Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Duarte Ferreira sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Dantas in the 16th minute of play forced SC Cabanelas's goalkeeper Domingos Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Monteiro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 18th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ricardo Torres. Bento Dantas might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingos Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bento Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingos Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Rui Rodrigues notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Telhaes FC's Manuel Oliveira. Manuel Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rui Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cabanelas's zone, Bento Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Monteiro came out of the goal and Bento Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heitor Rodrigues hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Duarte Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bento Dantas made the kick off in the second half. Domingos Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Rui Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Oliveira having to interfere. Manuel Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Veiga in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Armando Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Cabanelas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Telhaes FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of SC Cabanelas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Telhaes FC:s goal. The referee gave Telhaes FC a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Moutinho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Cabanelas's Domingos Monteiro. 2-1. Eusébio Queirós hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Domingos Monteiro didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Telhaes FC's Bento Dantas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. If Bento Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bento Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Monteiro having to interfere. Heitor Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Oliveira having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Rui Rodrigues could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Manuel Oliveira however easily saved by the left post. Rui Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Manuel Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cabanelas. When the referee ended the match the Telhaes FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
