Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Afonso Borba scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonso Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Afonso Borba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Lameiros's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Correia came free, but Jorge Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Paulo Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Borba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Afonso Barros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Afonso Rodrigues hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. SC Arripiado's Afonso Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save SC Arripiado from getting a goal against them. Jorge Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basílio Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Abel Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lameiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Matias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Coelho having to interfere. Jorge Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Correia in the 31st minute of play. If Sérgio Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lameiros getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Carlos Lima hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sérgio Correia went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Sérgio Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Paulo Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Abel Matias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Arripiado's Afonso Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Abel Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso Borba went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Afonso Borba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Sérgio Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Lameiros's Afonso Borba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonso Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lameiros's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
