Dadim FC's Jorge Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Amaro in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Jacinto Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Paulo Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Dadim FC's Jorge Sousa got control of the ball when Artur Pires tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Dadim FC booed when SC Bandavizes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Emanuel Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Bandavizes's goalkeeper Emanuel Matos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Artur Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dadim FC's Jacinto Domingues in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dadim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jacinto Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Amaro in the 43rd minute of play forced Dadim FC's goalkeeper Jorge Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Paulo Amaro came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the SC Bandavizes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Amaro couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Domingues made a kick off. Artur Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jorge Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes, José Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dadim FC and the SC Bandavizes players grew even worse after the yellow card. SC Bandavizes's Paulo Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Artur Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the SC Bandavizes defense, Miguel Moura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Matos. The SC Bandavizes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Matos should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Miguel Moura made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Matos. SC Bandavizes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Artur Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Moura came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emanuel Matos could save by the left post. In the 82nd minute, Paulo Amaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Bandavizes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Artur Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When José Machado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. José Machado hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
