In the 37th minute Júlio Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Jacinto Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes SC Bagunte got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Guarda. The supporters of Dadim FC booed when SC Bagunte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes, Dadim FC's Gil Andrade shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Duarte Moreira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dadim FC reached it. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Valente to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Dadim FC's zone, Gustavo Valente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Sousa came out of the goal and Gustavo Valente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Amorim during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes SC Bagunte got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Amorim. Dadim FC's Jacinto Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, one of SC Bagunte:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 65 minutes, Dadim FC's Gil Andrade got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Duarte Moreira. The supporters of SC Bagunte booed when Dadim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Machado hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jorge Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Valente went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to SC Bagunte getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Rafael Correia hit a great ball. Duarte Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Domingues's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dadim FC's Jacinto Domingues slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Duarte Moreira. That made the score 1-2 after 89 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dadim FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
