When Jaime Valente came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Pachecos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Valente couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Carlos Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Leiria hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Ribeiro in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 19 played minutes Caxarias FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Leiria. Jaime Valentes short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got André Brito to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 24th minute, Gustavo Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caxarias FC's André Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Caxarias FC from getting a goal against them. 0-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Oliveira Freitas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jaime Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. André Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Pachecos FC got a freekick which was hit by Mário Teixeira. António Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 56th minute, Carlos Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Jaime Valente notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Caxarias FC's André Brito. André Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Oliveira Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Caxarias FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliveira Freitas couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Heitor Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 2-3 became the score in the 86th minute when Oliveira Freitas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
