After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Afonso Simões made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Pinto in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélder Rocha saved Celavisa FC from getting behind. The supporters of SC Terreiro booed when Celavisa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Azevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afonso Simões showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 60 minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, SC Terreiro's Manuel Pinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Simões in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Terreiro's Manuel Pinto got a free kick in the 90th minute. Alexandre Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
