Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With an all-out effort, Eiras FC's Mariano Morais threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gil Simões, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 6 minutes of play, Cabanas FC's João Araújo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. António Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 9 minutes, Gil Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eiras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. António Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Araújo in the 15th minute of the match. Gil Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Morais having to interfere. When José Faria came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Eiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Faria couldn't finish the play. Gil Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over António Nunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Machado ran back to his position shaking his head. If João Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. António Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Araújo in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Gil Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Morais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Cabanas FC got a freekick which was hit by Américo Pinto. With a little luck, Cabanas FC's Mariano Morais got control of the ball when José Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Cabanas FC's goalkeeper Mariano Morais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Faria. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Gil Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eiras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Morais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Joaquim Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Eiras FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cabanas FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gil Simões stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cabanas FC's zone, José Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Morais came out of the goal and José Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Eiras FC's António Nunes got control of the ball when Artur Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cabanas FC's João Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Eiras FC's Bruno Leão got a free kick in the 67th minute. The supporters of Cabanas FC booed when Eiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eiras FC's António Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Eiras FC from getting a goal against them. When José Faria came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Eiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Faria couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Eiras FC defense, Joaquim Pedroso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of António Nunes. The Eiras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that António Nunes should have stopped the shot. Artur Machado took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised António Nunes. António Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Eiras FC's António Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Araújo in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Francisco Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eiras FC and the Cabanas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cabanas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hugo Borba in the 93rd minute. The corner led Cabanas FC's Hugo Borba to fire away a dangerous shot which António Nunes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cabanas FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
