Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Nunes started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Morais during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristiano Morais hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Cristóvão Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Santarém in the 5th minute of play. Cristóvão Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Esteves in the 10th minute of play. José Nascimentos short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Alfredo Gueifão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th minute Francisco Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Gueifão having to interfere. Alfredo Gueifão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Nunes's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. José Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, José Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Caniceira's Armando Morais got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Francisco Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Jesus having to interfere. Francisco Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Armando Morais's late challenge caught a Serralva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Morais helped the player get up and apologised. Armando Morais hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Santarém stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, SC Caniceira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Moniz to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Jesus made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Francisco Neves sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Nunes in the 61st minute of play. Cristóvão Jesus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Neves went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the SC Caniceira defense, Jaime Nunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Gueifão. The SC Caniceira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Gueifão should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Nascimento in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Gueifão saved SC Caniceira from getting behind. When Alberto Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Caniceira's protests and gave Alberto Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Alberto Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Nunes in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Alfredo Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Caniceira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serralva the free kick. When José Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Serralva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Cristiano Morais hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. SC Caniceira's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armindo Moniz in the 99th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
