Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Manuel Amorim made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Serralva's Basílio Mendes got a free kick in the 4th minute. Raul Alves's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristóvão Jesus firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jaime Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cristiano Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Melrica booed when Serralva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Serralva's Jaime Nunes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristiano Matos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Serralva booed when Melrica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Serralva's Basílio Mendes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Melrica's zone, José Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Matos came out of the goal and José Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristiano Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Nunes in the 37th minute of play. Carlos Leal hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Basílio Mendes, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jaime Nunes scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Matos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hélder Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Jesus having to interfere.

Melrica's Manuel Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Serralva's Jaime Nunes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Carlos Leal hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the game's 71st minute Serralva's Basílio Mendes took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Cristiano Matos and thus the score was 0-5. Jaime Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Melrica's Manuel Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristóvão Jesus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When José Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Serralva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Cristóvão Jesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Serralva could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Melrica throughout the match.
