Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Artur Neves made the kick off and thus started the match. António Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Moreira in the 14th minute of play forced SC Tancos's goalkeeper Augusto Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Tancos booed when Gondemaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. When José Silva fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gondemaria FC's protests and gave José Silva a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling António Coimbra in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basílio Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, José Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Tancos's Miguel Assunção shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Basílio Pinheiro but with some difficulty. Rodrigo Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Basílio Pinheiro made a huge save. António Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Basílio Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

António Coimbra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basílio Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amílcar Moreira got free with Augusto Castro in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Artur Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Neves struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Augusto Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gondemaria FC. In the 74th match minute, Gondemaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Lima to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Gondemaria FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. José Silva hit a great ball. Alexandre Ferro's late challenge caught a SC Tancos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Ferro helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Gondemaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Ferro. Basílio Pinheiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Coimbra's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Amílcar Moreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Castro having to make a save. The SC Tancos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gondemaria FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gondemaria FC.
