Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquim Valente took the kick off in the first half of the match. Artur Neves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Eusébio Antunes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 4th match minute, Penamacor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Lopes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Penamacor booed when Gondemaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inácio Miranda was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Joaquim Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amadeu Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeu Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amadeu Antunes hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With his leg Eusébio Antunes managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Gondemaria FC's Amílcar Moreira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Penamacor's Eusébio Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Penamacor from getting a goal against them. Gondemaria FC's Basílio Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Fontes in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Thanks to some nice moves Sérgio Fontes could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Basílio Pinheiro however easily saved by the left post. José Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Antunes having to interfere. Artur Neves might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio Antunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Neves ran back to his position shaking his head. João Lopes hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, Sérgio Fontes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Basílio Pinheiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Gondemaria FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Eusébio Delgado hit a great ball. After having played for 84 minutes, João Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penamacor's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Gondemaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Valente came free, but Basílio Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joaquim Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Penamacor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Penamacor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
