Augusto Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Vale in the 13th minute of the match. Augusto Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Rui Simões's late challenge caught a SC Tancos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Simões helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Guadramil FC's Rui Simões got a free kick in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Augusto Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Simões in the 53rd minute. Gonçalo Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Duarte Simões in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augusto Castro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling António Coimbra in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. António Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Simõess short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Augusto Castro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 79 in the game by Duarte Simões from a close distance when the talented Augusto Castro managed to make a qualified save. SC Tancos's players were relieved.
