Sebastião Nascimento's late challenge caught a Pampilhido's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastião Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Tentugal's Sebastião Nascimento got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Tentugal's zone, Álvaro Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Pereira came out of the goal and Álvaro Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Pacheco in the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Rui Borba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Álvaro Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jaime Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Pacheco in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Bessa struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Catarino Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Tentugal. If Gustavo Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pampilhido's Álvaro Vale managed to work through SC Tentugal's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Álvaro Vale dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 39th minute, Álvaro Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Tentugal's Jaime Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Pacheco in the 40th minute of play. Pedro Faro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Bessa made a kick off. Catarino Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Bessa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Aguiar having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, SC Tentugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Borba to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Filipe Azevedo in the 70th minute really tested Jaime Pereira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. SC Tentugal's Jaime Pereira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Tentugal from getting a goal against them. Pampilhido's Catarino Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Lopes in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Daniel Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, SC Tentugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Azevedo in the 79th minute of play. Rui Borba hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Daniel Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Aguiar having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, João Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pampilhido's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Tentugal the free kick. After some careless play in the Pampilhido defense, Paulo Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Catarino Aguiar. The Pampilhido fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Catarino Aguiar should have stopped the shot. Gustavo Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
