Jorge Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Moniz kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Ossada FC's Armando Ribeiro in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jesufrei's goalie prevented a goal. Armando Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesufrei's Rodrigo Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeu Leiria's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Rodrigo Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquim Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Amadeu Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Leiria in the 24th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Joaquim Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ossada FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jesufrei the free kick. Tomás Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jorge Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Tomás Tavares got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Amorim having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Ossada FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Matos. In the 70th minute of the match, Rodrigo Rodrigues tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daniel Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Daniel Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeu Leiria in the 76th minute. If Rodrigo Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Jesufrei's Rodrigo Rodrigues slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Amorim. That made the score 0-1 after 79 minutes of play. When Rodrigo Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Jesufrei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Jesufrei eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
