The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 minutes, Miguel Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcamim FC and the Nandufe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Alcamim FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Miguel Simões hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basílio Abreu in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Rodrigues saved Alcamim FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Amadeu Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcamim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basílio Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Baptista succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 26th playminute. In the 32nd minute, Jorge Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amadeu Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Pedro Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Rodrigues acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luís Garcia. Alexandre Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Abreu in the 45th minute of play. If Amadeu Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Amadeu Abreu made the kick off in the second half. Álvaro Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Pedro Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Basílio Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Gustavo Figueiredo hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Alcamim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Baptista came free, but Alexandre Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Baptista in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute, Jorge Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Amadeu Abreu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Santos. That made the score 2-1 in the 90 minute of play.
