Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlos Bessa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Abel Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Xavier Esteves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Cláudio Rocha made a huge save. When Raul Trindade fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melo FC's protests and gave Raul Trindade a yellow card for diving instead. When Abel Leite came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Melo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Leite couldn't finish the play. Abel Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Santos having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavier Esteves got free with Cláudio Rocha in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Assunção in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Abel Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 28th match minute, Melo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Branco to maneuver through the defense. Abel Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Assunção struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Pedro Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melo FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Bessa in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xavier Esteves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Cláudio Rocha made a huge save. After the first half Melo FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Melo FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xavier Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cláudio Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Abel Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Santos having to interfere. Pedro Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Assunção in the 63rd minute. Manuel Reis hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Pedro Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Leite's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Xavier Esteves struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Cláudio Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pasteleiro FC. When Pasteleiro FC's Carlos Bessa in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Carlos Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Rocha having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Carlos Bessa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melo FC's Cláudio Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Esteves in the 92nd minute of play forced Melo FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melo FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
