Carlos Bessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jacinto Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Carlos Bessa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Cardoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hugo Antunes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacinto Cardoso. Valinho's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute Carlos Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes, Mário Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valinho and the Pasteleiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Valinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gonçalo Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Faro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Bessa in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Cardoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the match, Valinho's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Bessa came free, but Jacinto Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
