Bruno Dantas came out of the goal and António Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Pedro Trindade put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lourenço Araújo. Emanuel Guarda might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lourenço Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Guarda ran back to his position shaking his head. Lourenço Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Trindade in the 26th minute of the match. If Emanuel Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Delgado was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. António Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Bruno Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Carlos Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Enxomil's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Delgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Aguiar in the 45th minute of play forced SC Arez's goalkeeper Bruno Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Carlos Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enxomil's Carlos Delgado got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, SC Arez's goal looked a bit too open when António Aguiar came free, but Bruno Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Miguel Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes SC Arez got a freekick which was hit by Gil Machado. Lucas Amorim, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Lucas Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enxomil's protests and gave Lucas Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Enxomil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Trindade struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Lourenço Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Arez. In the 75thth minute of the game Pedro Trindade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Enxomil's Lourenço Araújo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of SC Arez booed when Enxomil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Trindade in the 80th minute of play forced Enxomil's goalkeeper Lourenço Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Coelho during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
