Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rafael Neto kicked off to start the match. Júlio Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the game, Lucas Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valenca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deveseira FC the free kick. Júlio Aleixo stood somewhat misplaced when Pedro Gomes came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. Filipe Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Valenca booed when Deveseira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When André Santarém fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valenca's protests and gave André Santarém a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Deveseira FC booed when Valenca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deveseira FC's Afonso Moutinho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Júlio Aleixo but with some difficulty. Daniel Marques hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Valenca's zone, Pedro Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Aleixo came out of the goal and Pedro Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Pedro Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Fábio Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Pedro Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Deveseira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Gomes couldn't finish the play. If Rafael Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Rafael Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Gomes made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 48thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Júlio Aleixo would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simão Leal to strike the kick off in the second half. Júlio Aleixo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Neto went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Valenca's Simão Leal in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deveseira FC's goalie prevented a goal. Henrique Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Nunes in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Simão Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Valenca's Simão Leal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrique Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afonso Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Alves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Simão Leal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Amaral was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deveseira FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Valenca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
