Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albertino Resende started the match with the kick off. A collision led to SC Correlha getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Humberto Pacheco hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, SC Correlha's goal looked a bit too open when Albertino Resende came free, but Rafael Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th match minute, SC Correlha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Gil Esteves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Vaz. SC Carvalheda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Esteves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Albertino Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Lima having to interfere. When Cândido Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Correlha's protests and gave Cândido Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Correlha's Cândido Vaz got a free kick in the 18th minute. Rafael Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Resende in the 19th minute of play. If Albertino Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26thth minute of the game Alexandre Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Carvalheda's Nuno Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute of the match João Pires sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Lima skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, SC Carvalheda's Rafael Lima threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albertino Resende, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gil Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Vaz having to interfere. Gil Esteves struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Nuno Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Correlha. Nuno Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Esteves in the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute Alexandre Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Lima having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Nascimento to make the kick off. Alexandre Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Nuno Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Manuel Jesus fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Carvalheda's protests and gave Manuel Jesus a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Jesus hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Gil Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albertino Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Lima having to interfere. If Mariano Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Pereira in the 79th minute of play forced SC Correlha's goalkeeper Rafael Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gil Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Carvalheda's zone, Gil Esteves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Vaz came out of the goal and Gil Esteves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, one of SC Carvalheda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Carvalheda. The referee gave SC Correlha a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Leite, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Carvalheda's Nuno Vaz. 0-2.
