Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Armindo Pinheiro got the match started through his kick off. After recieving a nice pass, Castromil FC's Catarino Moniz tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 8th match minute, Tojeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Armindo Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tojeira FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Adolfo Andrade had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Catarino Moniz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Joaquim Silva hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Pedro Soares hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Castromil FC's Vítor Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Castromil FC's zone, David Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Vaz came out of the goal and David Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Moutinho hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If David Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute David Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Araújo made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Vítor Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castromil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Armindo Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Adolfo Andrade made a huge save. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tojeira FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Catarino Moniz was slow to take the kick. During this time Castromil FC's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Vítor Nascimento at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Tojeira FC. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Vítor Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castromil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Armando Vaz came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tojeira FC's David Araújo. But to his dismay, David Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Despite being the better team, Castromil FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
