Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Torres started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Pedro Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 4th minute, Pedro Torres fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Manuel Branco, passed just outside the right post. When Pedro Torres came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Godel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Torres couldn't finish the play. Manuel Branco made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Lúcio Assunção sent off a good shot on target. Lúcio Assunção could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Manuel Branco made a huge save. Fernando Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Pedro Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Nuno Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godel's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Branco was a little too slow when Pedro Torres got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Coulo's Diogo Santarém got a free kick in the 42nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Moutinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Lúcio Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Américo Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Coulo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Diogo Santarém hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Afonso Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coulo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Coulo's Raul Moutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 minutes, Paulo Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coulo and the Godel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Nuno Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the game, Lúcio Assunção cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Manuel Branco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Godel fans cheered their team off the field, for while Coulo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
