Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Leite started the match with the kick off. Miguel Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Álvaro Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Simão Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Sepins's Álvaro Cardoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquim Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Álvaro Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Leite in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Matias saved Carpalho from getting behind. With a little luck, SC Sepins's Álvaro Cardoso got control of the ball when Simão Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Álvaro Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Álvaro Cardoso came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Carpalho's Simão Azevedo. But to his dismay, Simão Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Miguel Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Cardoso having to interfere. Miguel Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. João Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Rafael Assis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carpalho's Alfredo Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Assis in the 33rd minute of play. If Simão Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Cardoso was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Miguel Esteves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miguel Esteves really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Esteves in the 43rd minute of play forced SC Sepins's goalkeeper Álvaro Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If João Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When SC Sepins's João Leite in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carpalho's goalie prevented a goal. Alfredo Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Leite in the 55th minute of the match. After 55 minutes, Cláudio Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpalho and the SC Sepins players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Cláudio Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Sepins's Rafael Assis came free and shot a quick shot against goal 57 minutes in the game, fortunately Alfredo Matias had problems saving as it came toward the left post. João Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 minutes, Lourenço Pinheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpalho and the SC Sepins players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carpalho's Lourenço Pinheiro got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Miguel Esteves put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Álvaro Cardoso. If Miguel Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Azevedo in the 76th minute of play. Rafael Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tiago Torres came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the SC Sepins fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Torres couldn't finish the play. João Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Matias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
