Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aboim FC's Hélder Pedroso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes SC Balsas got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Faria. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Pedroso in the 6th minute of play forced SC Balsas's goalkeeper Luís Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, SC Balsas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Assis to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Santos in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, SC Balsas's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Leal came free, but Luís Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catarino Porto struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Afonso Ferro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Balsas. After a defensive mix-up in Aboim FC's zone, Hugo Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Ferro came out of the goal and Hugo Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Pedroso in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Borba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hélder Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Hélder Pedroso notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Balsas's Luís Borba. Luís Borba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 45 minutes, Afonso Faria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Balsas and the Aboim FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Catarino Porto to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Santos during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, SC Balsas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Santos to maneuver through the defense. If Sandro Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Pedroso in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Borba saved SC Balsas from getting behind. Hugo Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Catarino Porto made a precise shot to the right of Afonso Ferro. Aboim FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Hugo Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Ferro having to interfere. Hélder Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Borba having to interfere. In the 100th minute, Sandro Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Aboim FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
