Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jacinto Soares made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 played minutes Cogula FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Freitas. After 7 minutes, Jacinto Soares made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Granja's João Setúbal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nuno Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. João Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cândido Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Mota in the 17th minute of the match. Vasco Setúbal hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jacinto Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cogula FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Setúbal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 28 minutes, Raul Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Abel Viana fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cogula FC's protests and gave Abel Viana a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cogula FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Abel Viana hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Granja's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Soares came free, but João Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Cogula FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Mota came free, but Cândido Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Cristiano Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Cristiano Porto hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Granja were furious when Paulo Anjos was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 66th minute, one of Granja:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Granja. The referee gave Cogula FC a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gil Brito, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Granja's João Setúbal. 2-1. 75 minutes into the match, Granja's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Soares came free, but João Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Jorge Gueifão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Cogula FC's Jacinto Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Setúbal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Granja's Gaspar Delgado got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Granja's zone, Nuno Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Setúbal came out of the goal and Nuno Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cogula FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Granja had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
