Partida FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Fujados the free kick. After a rather tough play, Partida FC's Domingos Fontes got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Partida FC's zone, Simão Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Cabral came out of the goal and Simão Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Resende in the 26th minute of play forced SC Fujados's goalkeeper Augusto Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Augusto Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Partida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Leiria came free, but Abel Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gustavo Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Viriato Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the SC Fujados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viriato Carneiro couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When Xavier Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Partida FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Antunes couldn't finish the play. Augusto Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SC Fujados booed when Partida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Joaquim Veiga fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Fujados's protests and gave Joaquim Veiga a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Resende in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Setúbal saved SC Fujados from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Partida FC's goalkeeper Abel Cabral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viriato Carneiro. Viriato Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viriato Carneiro got free with Abel Cabral in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Lucas Andrades short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Abel Cabral to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
