Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Taboa's Rui Pereira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armindo Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Gustavo Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Partida FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Taboa's zone, Domingos Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Mendes came out of the goal and Domingos Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tiago Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Paiva's late challenge caught a Partida FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Taboa got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Paiva. Tiago Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Resende in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Gustavo Resende had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Mendes. Taboa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Resende was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Tiago Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 27th match minute, Taboa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Borges to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tiago Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Partida FC were furious when Rui Tavares was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 42nd minute of the game, Taboa got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. When Domingos Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Partida FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Fontes couldn't finish the play. In the 48th match minute, Taboa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Borges to maneuver through the defense.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Fontes got free with Tiago Mendes in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 58 minutes Taboa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Luz who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Pedro Luz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Taboa's Tiago Mendes did a great save. Tiago Brás might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Mendes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiago Brás ran back to his position shaking his head. Basílio Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Abel Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Manuel Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domingos Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Tiago Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Armindo Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Domingos Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taboa's Tiago Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Taboa from getting a goal against them. Basílio Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Abel Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Pereira in the 87th minute of play forced Partida FC's goalkeeper Abel Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basílio Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Partida FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Antunes. The supporters of Taboa booed when Partida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Cabral having to interfere. Rui Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Abel Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
