After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Diogo Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fervenca's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Raul Araújo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ervedinho's Rui Ramos. Rui Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emanuel Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Raul Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diogo Veiga made a kick off. If Basílio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes Fervenca got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Amaro. 56 minutes into the match, Fervenca's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Costa came free, but Emanuel Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Ervedinho's goalkeeper Rui Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Araújo. After a rather tough play, Ervedinho's Alexandre Jesus got a free kick in the 69th minute. Raul Araújo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Rui Ramos made a huge save. When Bernardo Leite came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ervedinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Leite couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Basílio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Ervedinho's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Veiga came free, but Rui Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-4 became the score in the 86th minute when Raul Araújo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 92 played minutes Fervenca got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Soares. 93 minutes into the match, Ervedinho's Eusébio Cunha broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Ervedinho supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fervenca's performance. The match ended with a win for Fervenca.
