In the 63rd minute, one of Frazoes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Frazoes. The long shot by Armindo Garcia in the 74th minute really tested Tomás Gonçalves's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. SC Montao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Humberto Luz scored to the left of an out of position Tomás Gonçalves, making the score, 2-2. 87 minutes into the match, Frazoes's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Veiga came free, but André Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Manuel Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
