Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xavier Almeida started the match with the kick off. Diogo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Fernandes in the 6th minute of the match. After 16 minutes of play, Guardao FC's Lourenço Fernandes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diogo Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Guardao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Moura came free, but Rui Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Simões in the 23rd minute of play forced Reixida's goalkeeper Diogo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Diogo Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Reixida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Machado to maneuver through the defense. When Xavier Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reixida's protests and gave Xavier Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Guardao FC booed when Reixida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lourenço Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Moreira having to interfere. Diogo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Pedro Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guardao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Andrade hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cândido Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lourenço Fernandes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Pedro Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guardao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diogo Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Esteves in the 54th minute of play forced Guardao FC's goalkeeper Rui Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Pedro Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guardao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guardao FC! The referee gave Reixida a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fernando Ribeiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guardao FC's Rui Nascimento. 1-1. Guardao FC's Rui Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Esteves in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Xavier Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reixida's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Reixida's Diogo Moreira got control of the ball when Pedro Simões tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cândido Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Óscar Santarém's shot from long distance in the 92nd minute was not bad at all, but Reixida's Diogo Moreira knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 94th minute of the match Daniel Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diogo Moreira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pedro Simões who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Diogo Moreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 96 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reixida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guardao FC the free kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
