Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Lopes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. José Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusébio Ramos's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Tourinhas's Francisco Lopes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 9 minutes, Eusébio Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tourinhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Matos having to interfere. The supporters of Tourinhas booed when Valbom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Catarino Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Valbom FC's zone, Francisco Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Matos came out of the goal and Francisco Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Eusébio Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes, Lucas Nunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tourinhas and the Valbom FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Valbom FC booed when Tourinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tourinhas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Alexandre Sá scored to the left of an out of position Paulo Mendes, making the score, 2-0. 44 minutes into the match, Tourinhas's goalkeeper Paulo Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Carvalho. After 45 played minutes Alexandre Sá rounded Tourinhas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Sá to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, António Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute of the match Filipe Correia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Mendes skillfully saved the ball. Paulo Mendes came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Valbom FC's Jaime Carvalho. But to his dismay, Jaime Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Tourinhas's Paulo Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Sá in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Tourinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Sá came free, but Paulo Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastião Magalhães during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Francisco Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Matos having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Valbom FC's goalkeeper José Matos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusébio Ramos. Lucas Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Eusébio Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Tourinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Ramos couldn't finish the play. Paulo Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valbom FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
