Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vítor Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Fonseca in the 4th minute of the match. Cláudio Guarda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Pinto's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Alares FC's Cláudio Guarda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Alares FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Óscar Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alares FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Óscar Leão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Óscar Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Basílio Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Alares FC's Cláudio Guarda got control of the ball when Emanuel Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vítor Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Ricardo Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Guarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Pinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duarte Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Ricardo Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Alares FC booed when Cesar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Alares FC's Joaquim Freitas in action when he in the 48th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Pinto was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Cesar FC's Vítor Freitas got control of the ball when Basílio Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Delfim Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alares FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cesar FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alares FC's Delfim Domingues got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Joaquim Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cesar FC's Sérgio Maia tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Emanuel Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Pinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basílio Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Vítor Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Vítor Freitas throw himself and got hold of the ball when Óscar Leão in the 75thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Emanuel Figueiredo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cláudio Guarda. Basílio Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vítor Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Freitas having to interfere. Alares FC's Joaquim Freitas suffered a concussion after 89 minutes and had to leave the field. The supporters of Alares FC booed when Cesar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Cesar FC's goalkeeper Vítor Freitas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basílio Fonseca. Alares FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
