Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ricardo Pinto started the match with the kick off. Amílcar Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Lúcio Lopes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 5 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vítor Freitas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cesar FC's Daniel Vieira got a free kick in the 7th minute. If António Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute, Lúcio Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. António Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Vítor Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mangona's Cristiano Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Pinto in the 16th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Joel Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lúcio Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Mangona's Vítor Freitas threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from António Cabral, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Amílcar Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cesar FC's protests and gave Amílcar Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. Amílcar Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Cesar FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Pinto. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cesar FC's goalkeeper Vítor Freitas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vítor Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lúcio Lopes in the 33rd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Amadeu Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cesar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mangona the free kick. After 46 played minutes Cesar FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Leão. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. António Cabral was the one to do the kick off. Vítor Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Cabral in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Mangona's Lúcio Lopes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vítor Freitas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Mangona's António Cabral in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cesar FC's goalie prevented a goal. Emanuel Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Soares having to interfere. António Cabral might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vítor Freitas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. António Cabral ran back to his position shaking his head. Lúcio Lopes struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Vítor Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mangona. 79 minutes into the match, Cesar FC's goal looked a bit too open when António Cabral came free, but Vítor Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Joel Pacheco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cesar FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Sérgio Maia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristiano Soares. Mangona's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Emanuel Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Soares having to interfere.
