In the 2ndth minute of the game Paulo Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Dadim's Joel Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Joel Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paranhao's António Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Assis in the 6th minute of play. Nuno Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Simão Rodrigues sped through Paranhao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of António Miranda. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Guarda got free with Joel Pinheiro in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the game, Paranhao's David Guarda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Pinheiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Joel Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when David Guarda sent off a good shot on target. António Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Assis in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Pinheiro made a kick off. With a little luck, Paranhao's António Miranda got control of the ball when Nuno Assis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Pinheiro in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simão Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. António Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nuno Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Rodrigues in the 72nd minute of play forced Paranhao's goalkeeper António Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Guarda in the 74th minute of the match.
