The audience was convinced that Amílcar Coelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Nascimento was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the game, Artur Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cercadas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Orbida the free kick. The supporters of SC Orbida booed when Cercadas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th play minute Lucas Luz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Diamantino Nunes. 1-0. If Bernardo Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Orbida's Diamantino Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Abreu in the 24th minute of play. Diamantino Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Cercadas FC's Luís Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Coelho in the 29th minute of play. Luís Nascimento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílcar Coelho went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 32 played minutes SC Orbida got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Costa. In the 35th minute, Cercadas FC's Cristiano Abreu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Luís Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílcar Coelho in the 41st minute of the match. Diamantino Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Leite in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amílcar Coelho was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, SC Orbida's Artur Cardoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, SC Orbida's Luís Nascimento threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amílcar Coelho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Cercadas FC's Filipe Leal got a free kick in the 58th minute. Luís Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílcar Coelho in the 61st minute of the match.
